Ads for home services, judged on booked jobs
Roofers, remodellers, HVAC and the rest of the trades pay for leads and get judged on jobs. I build the ads, the tracking and the follow up so you can see which leads turn into signed work, and the budget goes there.
The roofing account
ROOFING / USA$27.49 PER LEAD
Took over a roofing contractor's Meta account from a previous agency in August 2026. Their best campaign, on lead forms, had produced 69 leads at $69.87 each, and their landing page campaign 44 at $125.75. Rebuilt as one campaign on instant forms with new creative, the same account produced 71 leads at $27.49 each by 20 October, on $1,951.86.
What changes in your account
Local Services Ads where your trade qualifies
Roofing, HVAC, plumbing, remodelling and most home trades can run Google's Local Services Ads, the pay per lead listings at the very top of the page. I run them next to Search as one budget, so the money goes to whichever is producing.
Emergency and planned work kept apart
Emergency, repair and replacement searches each get their own campaigns, so a cheap repair search does not eat the budget meant for a full replacement.
Meta for the jobs people plan
A new roof, a remodel or new blinds is planned weeks ahead. Meta lead forms with your own photos and an honest price frame reach those people before they start searching.
Every lead answered in minutes
Every form and missed call gets an instant text and email through GoHighLevel. The first company to call back is often the one that gets the inspection.
Judged on booked jobs
Leads are counted, then estimates, then signed jobs. A cheap lead that never books is not cheap, and the reporting shows which ads bring the jobs.
Questions owners ask first
Which trades do you work with?
Roofing, remodelling and construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, blinds and windows, and moving. The mechanics are the same: high value jobs, local demand and a lead that has to be answered fast.
Google or Meta?
Both, for different jobs. Emergency work is search: the pipe bursts and they search. Planned work like a new roof or new blinds also works on Meta. Most home services accounts start on Google and Local Services Ads.
How much should I spend?
Around $3K a month in media is the floor, and most clients start at $5K. Below that there is not enough data for the bidding to learn from.
